    Why turn images into a PDF?

    ID copies, diplomas, receipts and handwritten notes often end up as photos taken with your phone. Application portals, schools, banks and employers, however, usually ask for documents as a single PDF file. Instead of sending several photos separately, collecting them into one PDF with pages in the right order is tidier and more reliable.

    The JPG to PDF tool places each uploaded image on its own PDF page. You choose the page size (A4, Letter or the image's own proportions), the orientation and the margin. Photos taken upright with a phone are rotated correctly based on the orientation data (EXIF) stored by the camera, and transparent PNG backgrounds become white.

    Supported formats: JPG/JPEG, PNG, WEBP, HEIC/HEIF (iPhone photos), BMP and GIF (first frame of animated GIFs). You can upload up to 20 images at a time.

    How to convert images to PDF in 4 steps

    1. Add images: Drag your images into the area above or click to select them. Use “Add images” to add more at any time.

    2. Arrange them: Drag and drop the thumbnails or use the ▲ ▼ buttons to set the page order; remove any image with ✕.

    3. Choose page settings: Set the page size (A4, Letter or Fit to image), orientation (Automatic, Portrait, Landscape) and margin (None, Small, Large).

    4. Download the PDF: Click “Convert to PDF”; all images are combined into one PDF that is ready to download.

    Quality, file size and limitations

    • Print-ready quality: Images are kept at roughly 200 DPI for their size on the page, which looks sharp both on screen and on paper. Larger photos are scaled down to fit the page; small images are never artificially upscaled.

    • Reasonable file size: Photos are compressed as JPEG (quality 85); lossless PNGs such as screenshots are stored losslessly when that is smaller, so text stays crisp. JPGs that are already the right size are usually embedded without recompression.

    • Location data removed: EXIF information in your photos (GPS location, device model, capture date) is not copied into the PDF.

    • Page options: With A4 and Letter, each image is centred on the page with its proportions preserved. “Fit to image” creates every page in the image's own aspect ratio. With “Automatic” orientation, landscape images get landscape pages and portrait images portrait pages.

    • Limitations: Up to 20 images and 25 MB in total per conversion. Extremely high-resolution images (e.g. PNGs above 50 megapixels) are rejected for security reasons.

    Privacy and automatic deletion

    Your files are sent to our server over an encrypted HTTPS connection. The original file you upload is deleted as soon as processing finishes. The result file is kept only briefly so you can download it: an automatic clean-up job runs every minute and permanently deletes files older than 10 minutes. We therefore recommend downloading your result as soon as it is ready.

    The download link only works for the user or browser session that started the job, and your files are never shared with other users. Our job log stores only details such as the file name, size and type of operation, never the file itself.

    Frequently Asked Questions

    Is converting JPG to PDF free?

    Yes. The tool is free and works without an account. Guests have a 24-hour usage allowance per tool; a free account lets you convert more files.

    Can I combine several images into one PDF?

    Yes. You can upload up to 20 images at once; each image becomes its own page and all of them are merged into a single PDF. The total size of the images must not exceed 25 MB.

    How do I change the order of the images?

    After uploading, drag and drop the thumbnails in the list or use the ▲ and ▼ buttons next to each image. The PDF pages follow the order of the list.

    Will photos taken with my phone appear sideways?

    No. The orientation information your phone stores in each photo is read, and every image is placed on the page the right way up.

    Can I also convert PNG, WEBP or screenshots?

    Yes. Besides JPG and JPEG, PNG, WEBP, HEIC, BMP and GIF are supported. Transparent backgrounds appear white, and only the first frame of animated GIFs is used.

    Can I convert HEIC photos from my iPhone?

    Yes. You can add HEIC photos from your iPhone directly, without converting them to JPG first, and combine them with JPGs in the same PDF. Every photo is placed on the page the right way up.

    Will the PDF be very large?

    Because images are scaled to a suitable resolution for the page and compressed, the PDF is usually smaller than the photos combined. If a portal needs an even smaller file, use the Compress PDF tool.

    Are my images stored?

    No. Your images are deleted from the server as soon as the PDF has been created. The PDF is kept only so you can download it and is deleted automatically within about 10 minutes. Location data from your photos is not included in the PDF.
