Why won't TIFF files open?
TIFF (.tif, .tiff) is an old but still widely used image format, produced by scanners, fax machines and some organisations' systems. A single TIFF file can hold dozens of pages, yet phones, web browsers and email previews often show only the first page, or don't open the file at all.
This tool places every page of your TIFFs into one PDF, in the order you uploaded them. The page size is calculated from the TIFF's own resolution, so pages at fax resolution (e.g. 204 × 98 or 204 × 196 DPI) come out in the right proportions too. Black-and-white scans stay 1-bit with CCITT G4 compression, so the PDF doesn't balloon; colour and greyscale pages are stored losslessly or as high-quality JPEG.
You can choose several TIFFs at once (up to 20 files, 25 MB and 300 pages in total). If you'd rather get the pages as separate images, just choose “JPG images” as the output.

When do you need TIFF to PDF?
Fax and scanner output: Turning a multi-page fax file into a PDF that opens on any device.
Scans from organisations: Reading and printing documents and official notices sent to you as TIFF.
Applications and uploads: Uploading a document as a PDF to systems that don't accept TIFF.
Archives: Turning an old scan archive into single-file PDFs.
04
Quality, compression and limits
Black-and-white pages stay small: 1-bit fax and scan pages are stored with CCITT G4 or lossless 1-bit compression; they are never inflated to 8 bits.
Supported TIFF types: uncompressed, LZW, Deflate (ZIP), PackBits, CCITT G3 / G4 and JPEG-compressed TIFFs. Rarer types (e.g. JPEG 2000 or LZMA) are rejected, and we tell you so clearly.
Large pages: A colour or greyscale page can be up to 50 megapixels, a black-and-white page up to 200 megapixels.
Privacy: Uploaded files are deleted from the server as soon as processing ends, and the resulting PDF after about 10 minutes.
05
Privacy and automatic deletion
Your files are sent to our server over an encrypted HTTPS connection. The original file you upload is deleted as soon as processing finishes. The result file is kept only briefly so you can download it: an automatic clean-up job runs every minute and permanently deletes files older than 10 minutes. We therefore recommend downloading your result as soon as it is ready.
The download link only works for the user or browser session that started the job, and your files are never shared with other users. Our job log stores only details such as the file name, size and type of operation, never the file itself.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is converting TIFF to PDF free?
Yes. The tool is free and works without an account. Guests can use this tool 20 times in 24 hours.
Are all pages of a multi-page TIFF included?
Yes. All pages of every TIFF are added to the PDF in order. If you chose several files, the pages of the first file come first, then those of the second; you can change the order in the list.
Does a fax TIFF get bigger when converted to PDF?
Usually not. Black-and-white fax pages stay 1-bit and CCITT G4-compressed in the PDF too, so the PDF is usually about the same size as the TIFF.
Can I convert TIFF to JPG?
Yes. Choose “JPG images” as the output: each page becomes a separate JPG, and if there are several pages they all download in a single ZIP file.
Are my files stored?
No. The TIFFs you upload are deleted from the server automatically as soon as processing ends, and the resulting file after about 10 minutes.
