Why share your presentation as a PDF?
A PowerPoint file can look different depending on the fonts and Office version of the computer that opens it: titles shift, text boxes overflow and carefully aligned shapes move out of place. On top of that, the recipient may not have PowerPoint at all or may want to open the presentation on their phone. A PDF freezes every slide exactly as it is: the presentation looks the same on every screen, is easy to send by email and prints without surprises.
The Dönüştür.net PowerPoint to PDF tool opens your presentation on our server with LibreOffice and exports each slide to its own PDF page. Text, images, shapes, tables, charts and slide backgrounds are preserved, and the text stays selectable and searchable in the PDF. You don't need Microsoft Office on your computer.
Supported formats: Microsoft PowerPoint (.pptx and legacy .ppt) and OpenDocument Presentation (.odp; LibreOffice Impress). Presentations made in Google Slides or Keynote can be exported as PPTX first and then uploaded.

How to convert PowerPoint to PDF in 3 steps

Convert to PDF: Click “Convert to PDF”. The presentation is opened on the server and each slide is exported to a PDF page; most presentations are ready within seconds and the progress bar shows the current step.
Download: Click “Download file” to save your PDF right away. The file keeps its name, so Project Presentation.pptx becomes Project Presentation.pdf.

Conversion quality and limitations
One slide per page: Slides become PDF pages in the order they appear in the presentation, and the page size follows the presentation's slide size (16:9 or 4:3). Hidden slides are not included. Slide numbers, headers and footers and links are carried over to the PDF too.
Animations and transitions: PDF is a static format; animations, transition effects, videos and sounds are not carried over. Each slide appears the way it looks at the end of its animations.
Speaker notes: Notes are not added to the PDF; only the slides themselves are exported.
Fonts: If a font used in the presentation is not available on the server, a font with similar metrics is used instead. Custom or commercial fonts may look slightly different; saving the presentation in PowerPoint with the fonts embedded reduces these differences.
Security: Macros in the presentation are never run and linked content from the internet is not downloaded; only content inside the file is converted.
Password and size: Presentations with an opening password cannot be converted. Up to 25 MB per file; presentations with many high-resolution images take longer, and a conversion that does not finish within 2 minutes is stopped.

Privacy and automatic deletion
Your files are sent to our server over an encrypted HTTPS connection. The original file you upload is deleted as soon as processing finishes. The result file is kept only briefly so you can download it: an automatic clean-up job runs every minute and permanently deletes files older than 10 minutes. We therefore recommend downloading your result as soon as it is ready.
The download link only works for the user or browser session that started the job, and your files are never shared with other users. Our job log stores only details such as the file name, size and type of operation, never the file itself.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is converting PowerPoint to PDF free?
Yes. The tool is free and works without an account. Guests have a 24-hour usage allowance per tool; a free account lets you convert more files.
Does each slide become a separate page?
Yes. Each slide becomes one PDF page, in the order of the presentation. Hidden slides are not included; if you want a slide to appear, unhide it in PowerPoint and save the file.
Do animations and videos work in the PDF?
No. Because PDF is a static format, animations, transitions, videos and sounds are not carried over; each slide appears in its final state. Keep the original file for presenting live.
Are my speaker notes included in the PDF?
No, only the slides are exported. If you also need to share your notes, export them from PowerPoint to a Word document and then use the Word to PDF tool.
Can I convert without PowerPoint installed?
Yes. The conversion runs on our server, so you don't need PowerPoint or any other office suite on your computer or phone. The tool also works in the browser on Android and iPhone.
The PDF is very large. Can I make it smaller?
Yes. Presentations with high-resolution photos can produce a large PDF. Use the Compress PDF tool to shrink the file to a size that suits email and online application forms.
Are my presentations stored?
No. Your uploaded presentation is deleted from the server as soon as the conversion finishes. The PDF is kept only so you can download it and is permanently deleted automatically within about 10 minutes.
