Why combine images into one?

Putting several photos or screenshots into one image makes them easier to share: on WhatsApp a single image goes out instead of ten separate photos, when an application form asks for one file the front and back of your ID card sit in the same image, and a before / after comparison is clear at a glance.

Dönüştür.net's image combiner offers three layouts: side by side (all the same height), stacked (all the same width) and grid (equal cells, 2 × 2, 3 × 3 or automatic columns). You choose the spacing, margin and background colour; the image you see in the preview is exactly the file you'll download.

Your images are processed in your browser and are not sent to a server. The resulting file contains no EXIF data such as camera, date or GPS location. If you'd rather combine several images into a PDF, use the JPG to PDF tool.

Combine images in 3 steps

  1. Choose the images: Choose at least two and up to 30 images (JPG, PNG, WEBP; HEIC if your browser can open it). Change the order by dragging the images or with the arrow keys.

  2. Set the layout: Choose side by side, stacked or grid; set the spacing, margin, background colour and output width. The preview updates with every change.

  3. Download: Press “Combine”; the combined image downloads as JPG, PNG or WEBP.

03

When is it used?

  • One photo on WhatsApp: Putting several photos into one image and sending it without flooding the chat.

  • Front and back of an ID card: Combining both sides of an ID card into one image, side by side or stacked.

  • Before / after: Showing renovation, maintenance, diet or design changes side by side at the same height.

  • Screenshots: Sharing a chat or a long page as one image, with the repeated parts trimmed.

  • Product photos: Showing a product from different angles in a grid in one image, with the same background colour.

  • Social media collage: Sharing photos from a trip or event, or class notes, in a 2 × 2 or 3 × 3 grid in a single post.

Sizes, quality and privacy

  • Sizes: In the side-by-side layout all images are scaled to the same height, in the stacked layout to the same width; proportions are kept and no image is cropped. In the grid, “Fit” shows the whole image, while “Fill” fills the cell and crops the edges that spill over.

  • Output width: You can choose 1080, 2048 or 4096 pixels or the original resolution. The recommended 2048 pixels looks sharp on WhatsApp and in email while keeping the file light.

  • Large images: Phone browsers can draw images of at most 16.7 megapixels. If the combined image would be larger, the tool scales it down proportionally and tells you.

  • Format and quality: JPG gives a small file for photos (the quality is adjustable), PNG is lossless and keeps text sharp in screenshots, and WEBP gives the smallest file. A transparent background is kept in PNG and WEBP.

  • Orientation and location data: Portrait photos taken with a phone are placed the right way up (EXIF orientation is applied). The resulting file contains no location, camera or date data.

  • Privacy: The work happens in your browser; your images aren't uploaded, stored or shared with anyone. Once the page has loaded, no internet connection is needed.

Privacy and automatic deletion

This tool does not send your file to our server: all processing happens in your browser, on your device. The page is served with a security policy (Content-Security-Policy) that technically prevents the file's contents from being sent anywhere; no analytics or advertising scripts run on this page.

The result file is also created on your device and only you download it. It is cleared from the browser's memory when you close the tab or choose “New file”. Our server keeps no file name or content record of this processing.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I combine two pictures into one?

Choose the two pictures, pick the “Side by side” or “Stacked” layout and press “Combine”. The pictures are scaled to the same height (or width) and download as a single file. You can change the order by dragging the pictures.

How many images can I combine at once?

You can combine up to 30 images. For lots of images, the grid layout gives the tidiest result: the automatic column option arranges 4 images in 2 × 2 and 9 images in 3 × 3.

What if the images are different sizes?

In the side-by-side layout they're all scaled to the same height, and in the stacked layout to the same width; proportions aren't distorted and nothing is cropped. In the grid, “Fit” places each whole image in its cell and “Fill” fills the cell.

Can I add space between the images?

Yes. The “Spacing” slider adds 0–40 pixels between the images, and “Margin” adds space around the outer edge. The gaps take the background colour you choose: white, black, transparent or any colour you like.

Will the combined image lose quality?

The images are resampled to the output width you choose. With the “Original” option, the largest image isn't scaled down. For JPG you can adjust the quality; for a lossless result, choose PNG.

Can I combine images into a PDF?

This tool produces a single image. To put images into one PDF with each on its own page, use the JPG to PDF tool.

Does it work on a phone?

Yes. In iPhone and Android browsers you can choose several photos from your gallery and combine them; you change the order by dragging with your finger. Very large combinations are scaled down to fit the phone's limit.

Are my images uploaded anywhere?

No. The combining happens in your browser; your images aren't sent to a server. The resulting file contains no location or camera data (EXIF).
