Address and note
Long-press the spot on a map and copy the coordinates; you can paste a single line like “51.5074, -0.1278” into the latitude box.
Banking apps may not treat this as a payment code; payment QR codes (such as the EPC QR code in Europe) come from your bank or banking app. This QR code carries the IBAN as plain text you can copy.

At least 20 mm is recommended; for scanning from a distance, make it a tenth of the scanning distance.
When off, the card shows only the network name; the password is only inside the QR code.
Never expires: the QR code has no redirect; the content is inside the code itself. If your link changes, you need to print a new code.
Print at 100% scale; before printing in bulk, scan a test print with a few phones.

How do you create a QR code that never expires?
A QR code turns a link, a piece of text or contact details into a square pattern that a phone camera reads in seconds. It is the quickest route to the menu in restaurants and cafés, the Wi-Fi in a shop, the phone number on a property listing, the contact details on a business card or a homework link in class.
Many QR sites put their own short link into the code and call it a “dynamic QR code”. The code first goes to that site's server and is then redirected to your address; once the trial ends or the subscription lapses, your printed menus stop working. Dönüştür.net's QR codes are static: what you type goes straight into the code, with no redirect, tracking or ads in between. That is why the code never expires.
The tool supports ten content types: link (URL), plain text, Wi-Fi, business card (vCard), WhatsApp message, email, SMS, phone, location and IBAN. You can download the code as PNG, SVG or PDF, lay out four table cards on an A4 page, or create hundreds of QR codes from a list in one go. The QR code is drawn in your browser with an encoder we wrote ourselves; what you type is not sent to our server.
02
Create a QR code in 3 steps
Choose the content type and fill in the details: Pick a type such as link, Wi-Fi, business card, WhatsApp or IBAN. The preview updates as you type, and below it you can see exactly what will be written into the code.
Set colours, error correction and output: For print and table cards, set error correction to Q or H. Change the code and background colours if you like; the tool warns you if the contrast is too low. Choose PNG, SVG, PDF or table card.
Download and test: Press “Create QR code” and download your file. Before printing, scan the code with an iPhone and an Android phone; for bulk printing, test a single page first.
03
When is it used?
Restaurant and café menus: Turn your menu link into a QR code and print it as a table card; the code keeps working when the menu changes, as long as the link stays the same.
Guest Wi-Fi: Put the network name and password into a QR code so guests can connect without typing the password. You decide whether the password is also shown on the card.
Business cards: Put your name, phone number, email and website into a vCard QR code; whoever scans it adds you to their contacts with one tap.
Property and listings: Put a WhatsApp QR code on a sign or flyer so interested people can message you right away with a ready-made text.
Teachers and schools: Add links to homework, forms or videos as QR codes on the board, on worksheets or in letters to parents.
Bulk labels: Create codes for inventory, asset or product links from a list in one go, as a ZIP or an A4 label sheet.
04
Printing, scannability and limits
Size: On tables and flyers, print at least 2 × 2 cm. For posters scanned from a distance, make each side of the code about a tenth of the scanning distance: 20 cm for a code read from 2 metres away.
Quiet zone: The empty white border around the code is part of how it is read. The tool leaves a margin of at least 4 modules in every output; do not crop this border or put text over it when you place the code in your design.
Error correction: Levels L, M, Q and H tolerate damage to up to 7%, 15%, 25% and 30% of the code. On tables, outdoors or on laminated cards, choose Q or H. If the text is short, the tool raises the level automatically.
Colours: The code should be dark and the background light. Coloured QR codes can be read, but the lower the contrast between code and background, the harder scanning becomes; a light code on a dark background (inverted QR) does not work at all with many readers. The tool warns you in both cases.
Content length: The more a code carries, the denser it gets. Using a link instead of a long text keeps the code simple. The capacity meter below the preview shows the version and how full the code is.
Never expires, but fixed: A static QR code has no redirect, so you cannot point it to another address later. If your link changes, you need to create a new code and print it again, so use an address that will not change for a long time.

Privacy and automatic deletion
This tool does not send your file to our server: all processing happens in your browser, on your device. The page is served with a security policy (Content-Security-Policy) that technically prevents the file's contents from being sent anywhere; no analytics or advertising scripts run on this page.
The result file is also created on your device and only you download it. It is cleared from the browser's memory when you close the tab or choose “New file”. Our server keeps no file name or content record of this processing.

Frequently Asked Questions
Will my QR code expire?
No. The QR codes created here are static: the content is stored directly in the code, and neither our server nor anyone else's sits in between. The code does not need our site, an account or a subscription to work. It only stops being useful if the link inside it stops working.
What is the difference between a dynamic and a static QR code?
A dynamic QR code contains the provider's short link; you can change the destination later, but the code stays tied to that company's server and subscription. In a static QR code the destination is stored directly in the code: it never expires and is not tracked, but if the address changes you need to print it again.
How do I print a menu QR code?
Type your menu link, set error correction to Q or H and choose “Table card” as the output. Four A6 cards fit on an A4 page; print at 100% scale and cut along the cut lines. If you laminate the cards, choose a matte laminate to reduce glare.
Can an iPhone read a Wi-Fi QR code?
Yes. On iOS 11 and later, the Camera app recognises Wi-Fi QR codes and offers to join the network; on Android, the camera or Google Lens does the same. The password, network name and security type must be entered correctly. Some older Android phones may need a separate QR scanner app.
Can coloured QR codes be scanned?
Yes, as long as the code is clearly darker than the background. Navy, dark green or burgundy codes on a light background work fine. Yellow, light grey or pastel codes, or a light code on a dark background (inverted QR), stop many phones from reading it. The tool warns you about low contrast and inverted colours.
Can I add a logo to my QR code?
Not in this tool at the moment. QR codes with a logo cover the centre of the code and rely on error correction, and a logo of the wrong size can make the code unreadable. If you open the SVG output in a design program and add a logo, set error correction to H and always test with several phones before printing.
Will an IBAN QR code open as a payment in my banking app?
Usually not. This tool validates the IBAN (check digits) and puts it into the QR code as plain text; when a phone reads the code, you can copy the IBAN. Payment QR codes, such as the EPC QR code used in Europe, are a different format and are issued by your bank or banking app.
Is what I type sent anywhere?
No. The QR code is drawn in your browser with an encoder we wrote ourselves; your link, Wi-Fi password or contact details are not sent to our server or stored. The page is served with a strict security policy that blocks outside connections, and no advertising or analytics scripts run on this page.
