Address and note
Long-press the spot on a map and copy the coordinates; you can paste a single line like “51.5074, -0.1278” into the latitude box.
Banking apps may not treat this as a payment code; payment QR codes (such as the EPC QR code in Europe) come from your bank or banking app. This QR code carries the IBAN as plain text you can copy.

At least 20 mm is recommended; for scanning from a distance, make it a tenth of the scanning distance.
When off, the card shows only the network name; the password is only inside the QR code.
Never expires: the QR code has no redirect; the content is inside the code itself. If your link changes, you need to print a new code.
Print at 100% scale; before printing in bulk, scan a test print with a few phones.

What is a vCard QR code?
vCard is the common contact card format used by phone address books. A business card QR code carries this card as it is: first name, last name, company, job title, phone numbers, email, website and address. An iPhone or Android phone that scans the code opens a screen for adding the contact, so nobody has to type your number by hand.
Estate agents, insurance brokers, lawyers, doctors, sales reps and shop owners can put it on the back of a printed business card, on a listing sign, on a trade fair stand or in an email signature. Phone numbers are converted to international format (e.g. +44…), so a phone abroad saves the number correctly too.
The code is a static vCard without any link: your details are not stored on a server, the code never expires and no one tracks who scans it. If your details change, you create a new code and print it again.
02
Create a vCard QR code in 3 steps
Enter your details: Start with your first and last name, then add the phone, email, company, job title, website and address you want to share. Fields you leave empty are not included in the code.
Check the preview: You can see the content of the code below the preview. The more fields you fill in, the denser the code becomes; if you will print it small on a business card, keep only the fields you need.
Download and test: Download SVG or PDF for the printer and PNG for digital use. Before printing, scan the code with an iPhone and an Android phone and check that the contact is saved correctly.
03
Who uses it?
Printed business cards: A 2–2.5 cm QR code on the back of the card; no more mistyped numbers or email addresses.
Property and listing signs: Whoever scans the code on a “For sale” or “To let” sign adds you to their contacts and can easily call you later.
Trade fairs and events: Put it on your stand display or name badge so visitors can save your details without asking for a business card.
Email signatures and presentations: Add the PNG to your signature or to the last slide.
Shops and small businesses: With a code at the till or in the window, your customers can save the shop's number right away.
Schools and clubs: Add the contact details of a teacher, coach or parent representative to a notice.
04
Scannability, privacy and limits
Fewer fields, easier scanning: vCard text is long; each extra field makes the code denser. For a code printed small on a business card, name, phone and email are usually enough.
Size: Print at least 2 × 2 cm on business cards and larger on signs. Set error correction to M or Q; as the code fills up, the capacity meter warns you.
Numbers: Numbers are converted to international format using the country code field; with country code 44, for example, 07700 900123 becomes +44 7700 900123. For another country, change the country code.
Personal data: Anyone who scans the QR code can see the details inside. Consider using your business details instead of a private address or personal number.
Compatibility: The code uses the vCard 3.0 format and is recognised by the iPhone camera, Android cameras and Google Lens. Some older scanner apps may show the contact only as text.
Changes: The details in a static code cannot be updated later; if your phone number or job title changes, create a new code and print it again.

Privacy and automatic deletion
This tool does not send your file to our server: all processing happens in your browser, on your device. The page is served with a security policy (Content-Security-Policy) that technically prevents the file's contents from being sent anywhere; no analytics or advertising scripts run on this page.
The result file is also created on your device and only you download it. It is cleared from the browser's memory when you close the tab or choose “New file”. Our server keeps no file name or content record of this processing.

Frequently Asked Questions
How does someone save me by scanning my business card QR code?
On an iPhone, the camera shows a notification when it recognises the code; tapping it opens the contact card, which can be saved with “Create New Contact”. On Android, the camera or Google Lens offers to add the contact. Name, phone, email and company go into the right fields automatically.
What details should I include?
First name, last name, mobile number and email are enough for most business cards; company, job title and website are useful on a work card. Address and note are long and make the code denser; skip them if the code will be printed small.
Why is my number converted to international format?
International format makes sure the number is recognised correctly on phones in any country and in WhatsApp. With country code 44, typing 07700 900123 puts +447700900123 into the code. For a number from another country, change the country code.
Will my QR code expire?
No. Your contact details are stored directly in the code; it does not need our site, an account or a subscription to work. As long as your details stay the same, the code keeps working for years.
How small can I print a vCard QR code?
A code containing only name, phone and email scans easily at 2 × 2 cm. If you have added an address, a note and several numbers, the code gets denser; 2.5–3 cm is recommended. Always test with a few phones before printing.
Can coloured QR codes be scanned?
Yes, as long as the code is clearly darker than the background: if your brand colour is dark, you can use it. Light codes, pastel shades or a light code on a dark background make scanning harder; the tool warns you about low contrast.
Are my details stored anywhere?
No. Your contact details are turned into a QR code in your browser; they are not sent to our server or stored. The page is served with a strict security policy that blocks outside connections, and no advertising or analytics scripts run on it.
