When do you need to split a PDF?
You need to split a PDF when you want to share just a few pages of a long report, separate a batch of documents that were scanned in one go, or send only the relevant pages for an application.
The Split PDF tool saves every page of your document as a separate PDF file and delivers them all, named by page number, in one ZIP archive. Pages are copied as they are, without re-processing, so text, images and resolution stay exactly the same.

Privacy and automatic deletion
Your files are sent to our server over an encrypted HTTPS connection. The original file you upload is deleted as soon as processing finishes. The result file is kept only briefly so you can download it: an automatic clean-up job runs every minute and permanently deletes files older than 10 minutes. We therefore recommend downloading your result as soon as it is ready.
The download link only works for the user or browser session that started the job, and your files are never shared with other users. Our job log stores only details such as the file name, size and type of operation, never the file itself.

How do I extract a single page from a PDF?

PDFs with an open password cannot be processed. Remove the password in your PDF reader and save the file again first.
How do I open the ZIP on my phone?
The Files app on iPhone and most file managers on Android open ZIP archives directly.
Do you keep my files?
No. The uploaded PDF is deleted when processing finishes, and the ZIP archive is removed from the server automatically within a few minutes.
