Deleting pages from a PDF
Blank pages in scans, attachments added by mistake or a page you'd rather not share… You don't need to recreate the whole document just to take out a single page.
The Delete PDF Pages tool shows every page of your document as a thumbnail. You tap the pages you want to delete; marked pages fade and are crossed out, and if you change your mind, you just tap again. The screen shows how many pages will remain and how many will be deleted.
The remaining pages are not re-encoded; text stays selectable and quality doesn't change. The content of deleted pages isn't hidden in the new file; it is removed completely.

How to delete pages from a PDF in 3 steps

Pick the pages to delete: Tap the thumbnails of the pages you want to delete. On the keyboard, move with the arrow keys and mark pages with Enter or Delete.
Download the new PDF: Click “Create new PDF”; the remaining pages are downloaded as a single PDF.

When is it useful?

Quality, privacy and limits
Lossless: The remaining pages are not re-encoded; text, images and resolution stay exactly as they are.
Deleted content is really gone: The text and images of deleted pages aren't hidden in the new file; they are removed from it completely.
Long documents: Thumbnails are shown for up to 400 pages; for longer documents, you can type page numbers such as “5, 12-14” to say which pages to delete.
Limits: Up to 25 MB and 5,000 pages per file. For encrypted PDFs, use the Unlock PDF tool first.

Privacy and automatic deletion
Your files are sent to our server over an encrypted HTTPS connection. The original file you upload is deleted as soon as processing finishes. The result file is kept only briefly so you can download it: an automatic clean-up job runs every minute and permanently deletes files older than 10 minutes. We therefore recommend downloading your result as soon as it is ready.
The download link only works for the user or browser session that started the job, and your files are never shared with other users. Our job log stores only details such as the file name, size and type of operation, never the file itself.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is deleting pages from a PDF free?
Yes. The tool is free and works without an account. Guests have a 24-hour usage allowance per tool; a free account lets you process more files.
Can I delete several pages at once?
Yes. Tap every page you want to delete; the screen shows how many pages will remain. At least one page has to stay.
What if I mark the wrong page?
Tapping the same page again removes the mark. The “Reset” link undoes all marks.
Do deleted pages stay hidden in the file?
No. The text and images of deleted pages are removed from the new PDF completely; they can't be brought back with a PDF reader.
Can I change the order of the pages too?
Yes, use the Organise PDF tool for that; you can delete and move pages on the same screen.
Is my PDF stored?
No. Your uploaded PDF is deleted from the server as soon as processing finishes. The new PDF is kept only so you can download it and is deleted automatically within about 10 minutes.
