Extracting pages from a PDF
When you only want to send the summary page of a long report, a single chapter of a book or one form from a bundle of documents, you don't have to share the whole file.
The Extract PDF Pages tool shows the pages of your document as thumbnails. You tap the pages you want in the new PDF; the pages you pick become a single new PDF, in the order they appear in the document. Your original file doesn't change.
Pages are not re-encoded; text stays selectable and image quality doesn't change.

How to extract pages from a PDF in 3 steps
Upload your PDF: Drag your file into the area above or click to select it (up to 25 MB).
Pick the pages: Tap the thumbnails of the pages to put in the new PDF; selected pages are highlighted. On the keyboard, move with the arrow keys and pick pages with Enter.
Download the new PDF: Click “Create new PDF”; the pages you picked are downloaded as a single PDF.

Quality and limits
Lossless: Selected pages are not re-encoded; text, images and resolution stay exactly as they are.
Only what you pick: The content of pages you don't select never makes it into the new file.
To make every page a separate file: If you want every page as its own PDF, use the Split PDF tool.
Limits: Up to 25 MB and 5,000 pages per file. For documents longer than 400 pages, you can type page numbers such as “1-3, 7”. For encrypted PDFs, use the Unlock PDF tool first.

Privacy and automatic deletion
Your files are sent to our server over an encrypted HTTPS connection. The original file you upload is deleted as soon as processing finishes. The result file is kept only briefly so you can download it: an automatic clean-up job runs every minute and permanently deletes files older than 10 minutes. We therefore recommend downloading your result as soon as it is ready.
The download link only works for the user or browser session that started the job, and your files are never shared with other users. Our job log stores only details such as the file name, size and type of operation, never the file itself.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is extracting pages from a PDF free?
Yes. The tool is free and works without an account. Guests have a 24-hour usage allowance per tool; a free account lets you process more files.
In what order do the selected pages appear?
In the order they have in the document. If you want to change the order, you can move pages in the Organise PDF tool.
Does my original PDF change?
No. A new PDF is created from the pages you pick; the original file on your device isn't touched.
Can I make every page a separate PDF?
Yes, use the Split PDF tool for that; every page becomes its own PDF, and they are all downloaded in one ZIP file.
Does the quality drop?
No. Pages are not re-encoded; text stays selectable and image quality doesn't change.
Is my PDF stored?
No. Your uploaded PDF is deleted from the server as soon as processing finishes. The new PDF is kept only so you can download it and is deleted automatically within about 10 minutes.
