Edit PDFs without installing software
You don’t need expensive PDF software to fill in a form, sign a document or annotate a draft. The online PDF editor opens your document in the browser and lets you place whatever you need on the page.
The editor includes a text box, sticky note, clickable link, coloured box, image, pen, highlighter and eraser. You can move, resize and recolour what you add, and undo your last steps. When you save, the changes are applied to the PDF and the new file is downloaded.

How to edit a PDF in 3 steps
Open your PDF: Drag the file onto the box above or click to choose it; the page opens in the editor.
Edit: Pick text, note, link, image or pen from the toolbar, add it to the page and position it with your mouse or finger.
Save: Click “Save and download”; the edited PDF is processed and downloaded automatically.

When is it useful?
Filling in forms: Type onto application forms that have no fillable fields.
Adding a signature: Place a photo or transparent PNG of your signature, or sign with the pen tool.
Feedback: Add sticky notes to drafts and highlight important lines.
Adding links: Put a clickable web address on a brochure or quote PDF.

Good to know
Original content is kept: Your additions are applied as a new layer on top of the page; the existing text and images are not changed. Added text and drawings are stored as an image in that layer.
Which pages are edited: Each edit is applied to the page you made it on. Your additions are kept when you move between pages, and pages you rotate stay rotated in the saved file.
The box tool is not real redaction: A coloured box only covers content visually – the text underneath remains in the file. Do not use it to remove confidential information.
About signatures: A signature added as an image or drawn with the pen is not a legally qualified electronic signature.
Limits: Up to 25 MB per file. Links accept only http, https and mailto addresses.

Privacy and automatic deletion
Your files are sent to our server over an encrypted HTTPS connection. The original file you upload is deleted as soon as processing finishes. The result file is kept only briefly so you can download it: an automatic clean-up job runs every minute and permanently deletes files older than 10 minutes. We therefore recommend downloading your result as soon as it is ready.
The download link only works for the user or browser session that started the job, and your files are never shared with other users. Our job log stores only details such as the file name, size and type of operation, never the file itself.

Frequently Asked Questions
How do I add text to a PDF?
After uploading, click the “Add text” icon in the toolbar. Double-click the new text box on the page to type, then drag it where you want it. You can also work without a mouse: press Enter on “Add text” to start typing straight away, then on the page use Tab to select items, the arrow keys to move them and + or − to resize them.
Can I sign a PDF?
Yes. Insert a photo of your signature with “Add image” or draw it with the pen tool. This is not a qualified electronic signature.
Can I change the existing text in a PDF?
The editor does not change existing text directly. You can cover it with a white box and type new text on top, but the original text stays in the file. To fully edit the text, use the PDF to Word tool.
Which page is edited in multi-page documents?
Each edit is applied to the page you made it on. Use the page arrows to go to any page and edit it; additions on other pages are kept, and everything is saved in one file.
Can I undo a change?
Yes. Use “Undo” in the toolbar to reverse recent steps, and remove a selected item with the eraser tool or the Delete key.
Does the editor work on phones?
Yes, it works in current mobile browsers, although a computer or tablet makes precise positioning easier.
Do you keep my files?
No. When you save, the PDF is sent to the server for processing; the original is deleted when processing finishes and the edited file is removed automatically within a few minutes.
