What's in the photo?

The solid-colour background is removed; the logo's colours are kept.

Background colour Automatic

Turn it up if background colour remains at the edges, down if parts of the logo disappear.

  • The work is done in this tab, on your device.
  • Made for logos on a solid-colour background; not for gradients or photo backgrounds.

  3. Preparing the file

01

Why do you need a transparent PNG of your logo?

Your logo is often saved as a JPG on a white or coloured background. When you put that file on a coloured web page, a presentation slide or a product photo, an unwanted box appears around the logo.

In a transparent PNG the background is removed and only the logo itself remains. That way the logo looks clean on any colour; the edge pixels are separated with a soft transition so no white halo or jagged edge is left behind.

Dönüştür.net's logo mode detects the background colour from the edges of the image (or uses the colour you tap in the preview), removes that colour starting from the edges and smooths the edges. The work happens in your browser; your logo is not sent to a server.

02

Make a logo transparent in 3 steps

  1. Choose the logo: Choose your logo as a JPG, PNG or WEBP file. The page opens in “Logo” mode.

  2. Set the background colour and tolerance: The background colour is detected automatically; if it's wrong, tap the background in the preview. If background colour remains at the edges, raise the tolerance; if parts of the logo disappear, lower it. To remove the gaps inside letters too, turn on “Remove every area of this colour”.

  3. Download the PNG: Press “Make transparent PNG”; the transparent logo downloads as a PNG with the empty edges trimmed.

03

Where is a transparent logo used?

  • Websites and online shops: Using the logo without a box on coloured headers and product pages.

  • Presentations and quotes: Placing the logo neatly on PowerPoint slides and quote PDFs.

  • Letterheads and documents: Using the logo on Word templates, invoices and delivery notes so it blends with the background.

  • Social media images: Adding the logo as a corner mark on posts and stories.

  • Product labels and packaging: Moving the logo onto backgrounds of different colours in label designs.

  • Digital stamp images: Making stamp images created on a flat background transparent for documents.

04

Which logos does it work well with?

  • A solid-colour background is needed: The tool is designed for a single-colour background (white, black or another flat colour). Removing gradient, textured or photo backgrounds needs AI; this tool doesn't do that.

  • If the logo contains the background colour: By default only the background connected to the edges is removed; gaps inside letters (such as the inside of an “O”) stay. To remove them too, turn on “Remove every area of this colour”; check the result, because any part of the logo in the same colour as the background will also be removed.

  • Tolerance: JPG compression makes the background colour vary slightly; the tolerance counts those variations as background too. A very high tolerance can also remove light-coloured parts of the logo.

  • Smooth edges: As the edge pixels are separated from the background, they get a soft transparency and the background colour is taken out of them, so the logo looks halo-free on dark backgrounds too.

  • Rights: Use the tool for your own logo or logos you have permission to use; using other people's brands and logos without permission can have legal consequences.

  • Privacy: Your logo isn't uploaded; all the work happens in your browser. The resulting PNG contains no location or camera data (EXIF).

Privacy and automatic deletion

This tool does not send your file to our server: all processing happens in your browser, on your device. The page is served with a security policy (Content-Security-Policy) that technically prevents the file's contents from being sent anywhere; no analytics or advertising scripts run on this page.

The result file is also created on your device and only you download it. It is cleared from the browser's memory when you close the tab or choose “New file”. Our server keeps no file name or content record of this processing.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I remove the white background from a logo?

Choose your logo; the white background is detected from the edges and removed. If some white remains at the edges, raise the tolerance a little, then download with “Make transparent PNG”.

Does it work with a black or coloured background?

Yes. As long as the background is a solid colour, it can be black, navy, red or any other colour. If the detected colour is wrong, tap the background in the preview to pick the right one.

Why weren't the gaps inside the letters removed?

By default only the background outside the logo, connected to the edges, is removed; this keeps any parts inside the logo that happen to share the background colour. To remove the inner gaps too, turn on “Remove every area of this colour”.

Can I remove the background from an object in a photo?

No, this tool isn't made for that. Separating the background from people, products or landscapes in photos needs AI. This tool is for logos on a solid-colour background and signatures on paper.

What size is the result?

The PNG is created at your logo's own resolution (long side at most 4000 pixels) and the empty edges are trimmed. If you don't want trimming, turn off “Trim empty edges”.

Is my logo uploaded to a server?

No. The work happens entirely in your browser, and the page technically blocks any outside connection. When you close the tab, the files are cleared from memory.

Can I get the logo as an SVG?

No, the result is a transparent PNG. Converting a pixel-based logo into a vector (SVG) is a separate process that this tool doesn't offer.
